I am running the London Marathon on Sunday 13th April 2014 and would like to ask for your support in raising money for Leonard Cheshire Disability, a charity campaigning for change and providing innovative services to give disabled people the opportunity to live life their way.

Leonard Cheshire Disability is the UK’s leading charity supporting disabled people.

Every year, the charity supports thousands of people in the UK and around the world with physical and learning disabilities to fulfill their potential and live the lives they choose.

Leonard Chester Disability makes a difference to the lives of thousands of people by supporting them to develop skills through their employment, education, enterprise, health, volunteering and digital inclusion projects.

They help people with physical impairments, learning difficulties and long-term health conditions, as well as their carers, friends and families.  The needs and aspirations of disabled people are at the heart of what they do. By providing services and helping everyone to understand disability and combat discrimination, they aim to remove the barriers that can stop people with disabilities from pursuing their goals and living their lives to the full.

This is my sixth run for Leonard Cheshire Disability since I first started running for them in 1997 and I am a very strong believer in the wonderful work that they do.
